Golfer's Elbow

By Dr. J. Halbrecht, MD, Othopaedic Surgeon, San Francisco, USA

Golfer's Elbow

The Injury: Tendinitis on the inside of the elbow is known as golfers elbow. These inside tendons are injured when the golf club makes contact with the ball or more commonly when the club makes accidental contact with the ground. The sudden strain causes microscopic tearing of the tendons similar to the process which occurs in tennis elbow.

Treatment Options: Symptoms and treatment are similar to tennis elbow.
